This year is sure to be a great year for the Red Willow County Fair!
Fair food
Each year the Methodist and Catholic youth concession stands have great homemade pie plus we have the other favorites from the stands like cotton candy, funnel cakes, shaved ice, Indian tacos, corn dogs...
This year's fair is sure to be a great time for all! The fair grounds are located in McCook NE, near the cross sections of West 5th and O Street. Each year brings new talent and fun for all. Some people come for the food while other come for the entertainment, but in either case there's sure to be something for everyone!
4-H Animals
Each year we have a fair share of animals, including: cattle, sheep, horses, pigs, llamas, poultry, rabbits, dogs and cats. All of which can either be seen in shows or projects.
Displayers
Either come to show off your products or go through our Merchant Building or outside midway and find specials and new and different items for sale. We have everything from lawnmowers, health and beauty products, crafts, photography, cell phones..anything for sale, you can advertise it here or order it. There are always lots of prizes to be drawn for and give aways from the booths.
Open Class
Open to all ages of folks, entering just about anything that you can make - some of the categories are quilts, cooking, crafts, poetry, art, photography, woodworking, flowers and garden to mention a few. It is also fun during fair week to go to the 4H and Community Buildings and see all the items that friends and family have entered.
